IMPORTANT CUSTOMER INFORMATION ABOUT CHANGE OF ACCOUNTS ON INTERNATIONAL BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER BY IBAN STANDARD

Dear Customers, we hereby inform you that in order to comply with the NBU Board Regulations, starting January 13, 2020, the details of “Payer Bank Code”, “Recipient Bank Code” and “Collector Bank Code” will be excluded. the IBAN standard.


This means that the accounts of clients of all Ukrainian banks will change their format. As a result, the IBAN format, in addition to the account number, will contain country and bank code information. For Ukraine IBAN consists of 29 letters and numbers: country code, check digit, bank code and account number.


What IBAN requires:

IBAN is designed for use in international calculations.

IBAN International Bank Account Number allows you to harmonize your Ukrainian payment space with your European one.

That is why the NBU introduces the use of the international standard of bank account number in Ukraine. From January 13, 2020, IBAN will become obligatory for clients of all banks of Ukraine when making payments in both national and foreign currencies, including for cross-border transfers.
