Dear customers!
As part of the fulfillment of the requirements of the NBU Resolution "On the operation of the banking system during the introduction of martial law" dated February 24, 2022, the bank temporarily stopped providing tax refund services for Tax Free checks.
However, you can make your own refund.
For this you need:
- make a purchase in a store that participates in the Tax Free system (you can find out the addresses of the stores on the website by following the link);
- ask the seller to fill out the Global Blue Tax Free Form 一 there he will enter the data from your cash receipts;
- when passing through customs control, you must present the receipts for the goods you bought and the questionnaire so that the customs officer makes a mark about the crossing of the border by the goods;
- after crossing the border, you need to send a questionnaire with the appropriate customs mark and a check to Global Blue (the address can be found on the company's website).
And then you need to wait for the refund. Usually, the reimbursement period is 1 month. However, in some cases, this term can be extended.
* From August 22, 2019, VAT refunds will only be applied on the total purchase price of 1,500 Euros or more.
