World Savings Day in Ukraine is a socially important project, contributes to raising the level of financial literacy of the population, forms the skills of saving and managing their own finances, and provides banks with an opportunity to increase public confidence in both banks and the banking system as a whole.

For the sixth year in a row, the Association of the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine has been holding World Savings Day in Ukraine on the initiative of the member banks of NABU and with the support of the German Sparkasse Fund of Savings Banks.

The history of the World Savings Day began in 1924, now it is celebrated on October 31 in more than 40 countries of the world.
