Is it right to keep secrets? If we are talking about your bank card data, then the answer is yes.

As part of the information campaign #ShakhraiGoodbye, from the National Bank of Ukraine, we remind you how important it is to keep card data secret in order not to become a victim of fraudsters.

Namely:

• three-digit number on the back of the card;
• card pin code;
• codes of banks and mobile operators;
• passwords for internet banking, email, social media accounts, Gmail/iCloud accounts, Apple ID).

Also protect your financial phone number:

• keep secret SMS codes from mobile operators, PUK code and SIM card serial number;
• register a SIM card in your passport or switch to a contract with a mobile operator;
• disable the remote SIM card replacement service from your mobile operator;
• register in the mobile operator's online office;
• set up a separate phone number for interaction with the financial institution.

Do not link the financial phone number to social networks, messengers or use it for authorization in other systems.

Do not leave the financial number as a contact number in the profile data and do not use it for daily communication.

Take care of your loved ones, do not forget to share useful information.
